Using the Campaign Email Editor

MisarMail''s campaign editor lets you design professional emails without writing code. Here''s how to make the most of it.

Editor Modes

  • Visual Editor: Drag-and-drop blocks (text, image, button, divider, etc.) to build your email layout.
  • HTML Mode: Write or paste raw HTML for full control over your email design.
  • Markdown Mode: Write content in Markdown — ideal for plain, text-like emails.

Merge Tags (Personalization)

Insert personalized content using merge tags anywhere in your subject line or email body:

  • {{first_name}} — Contact''s first name
  • {{last_name}} — Contact''s last name
  • {{email}} — Contact''s email address
  • {{company}} — Contact''s company
  • {{unsubscribe_url}} — Required unsubscribe link (auto-inserted in footer if not present)

AI Subject Line Suggestions

Click the ✨ Suggest button next to the Subject field to get AI-generated subject line variations. Choose the one that best fits your campaign tone and goals.

Preview & Test

Use the Preview button to see how your email looks on desktop and mobile. Click Send Test Email to deliver a test copy to yourself or a teammate before sending to your full list.

Subject Line Best Practices

  • Keep subject lines under 50 characters for mobile compatibility.
  • Avoid all-caps, excessive exclamation marks, and spam trigger words ("FREE!!!", "BUY NOW").
  • Use personalization: "Hey {{first_name}}, here''s what''s new"
  • A/B test 2–3 variations to find what resonates with your audience.
